From an early age Oliver’s life had revolved completely around fishing. It was a passion that he had grasped in every aspect.

At the age of 6 Oliver first got his hands on a rod and reel, and at 9 he started to develop his match skills in Deal, Kent through a local club. By the time Oliver was 11 he had joined the England Junior Squad.

Aside from being in the England Juniors from such an early age, he also exceeds in his local Men’s Clubs and has won many junior opens and placed in many senior opens.

At 13 Oliver also grew an in depth knowledge of tackle when he worked in a local Tackle Store. He would give guidance on tactics, gear and bait suited to his local area. Oliver stood out because he would be giving advice to anglers in their 50s and 60s. He loved every moment of working in the tackle trade.

Now at 15 Ollie has achieved many high end results including:

  • Team Silver 2014 Montrose, Scotland Home Internationals
  • Team Gold 2015 Wexford, Ireland Home Internationals
  • Team Bronze 2016 Norfolk, England Home Internationals
  • British Junior Open Champion x2 (2014, 2016)
