Tronixpro is pleased to announce it has become the official sponsor for the 2016 World Shore Angling Championships to be held in the South East of Ireland between the 12th and 19th of November 2016.
The World Shore Angling Championships is a major international angling event that attracts over 250 of the best shore anglers in the world from 30 countries.
Tronixpro will be the official sponsor for the 2016 event that includes both the Senior Men’s and Senior Ladies competitions.
As part of the sponsorship package Tronixpro will provide official buckets, match measures and bibs for all competitors, team managers, stewards, first aiders and officials. Each competitor will also receive an official goody bag from Tronixpro featuring an event cap and useful tackle items.
George Cunningham, Managing Director of TronixFishing explained “We’re delighted to be supporting such a prestigious event. We believe sponsoring high level competition is a great way to put something back into the sport to help it prosper and flourish. It also helps to reinforce the message that Tronixpro is a brand match anglers know and trust.”
The week long competition will be based at the Clayton Whites Hotel in Wexford, a short drive from all twelve match venues which run from Wicklow in the north to Waterford Harbour in the south. The competition is sure to be fierce with the south east corner of Ireland boasting some of the finest and most diverse shore angling in Europe.
The format of the competition will allow for an initial training session on the local beaches on Sunday 13th with the competition beginning on Monday 14th and ending on Thursday 16th. Each match will begin at 17:00hrs and end at 21:00hrs. The competition will be run on a measure and return basis meaning all fish will be returned to the water alive. Each competitor will be given specific bait consisting of ragworm, mackerel, frozen lugworm and sandeel.
From all the staff at Tronixpro, we wish all of the competitors the very best of luck for a successful and enjoyable competition.
