Chris Clark

Chris has had a lifelong angling adventure starting off way back in the fifties targeting wild brownies with a World War 2 tank aerial as a rod in his local brook. Surprisingly he did not take up sea match fishing until after getting married some 44 years ago, since he has won gold, silver & bronze medals at World Individual level as well as team gold, silver and bronze medals and also gold, silver and bronze medals as the manager of the England junior team.

Now in his later years he sits on a number of committees including the British Record Fish Committee, the technical committee of the FIPSm which is based in Luxembourg where he represents shore anglers worldwide and also the Angling Trust team and selection committee.

While nowadays Chris works with young anglers as a Talent Pathway coach there is nothing he likes better that standing in the Hampshire Avon trotting for chub and dace.
